Manager I, Prroduction

Position Summary:
Responsible for manufacturing of products in planned quantities, at budgeted cost, safety and of desired quality. Liaisons with functional or operational area managers (e.g. in supply and logistics, or sales) to understand current and future product needs and develops plans, cost estimates, and schedules for integrating these needs into existing manufacturing activities. Provides supervision and guidance to Production Supervisors. Leads activities and projects to support continuous improvement in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, and cost reduction.
Major Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and direct the work team to streamline processes.
- Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel.
- Ensure the proper functioning of the production lines.
