 :Job Summary
Pet Valu is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manager of Financial Reporting for an 18-month contract. This role is responsible for leading the preparation of external consolidated financial statements and MD&A, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will manage audit processes, support technical accounting initiatives, and contribute to system implementations and internal controls.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
Lead the quarterly and annual preparation of consolidated financial statements and MD&A in accordance with IFRS.
Plan and manage quarter-end and year-end processes, including timelines, deliverables, and roll-forward of financial statements.
Coordinate quarterly reviews and annual audits with external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
