Job Description
The Manager, Development Accounting is responsible for accurate financial reporting for a portfolio of Canadian development properties. This hands-on leader works with the Yardi construction manager module, leads a team, and works collaboratively with many stakeholders across the organization.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day development accounting, including the development payable function.
Lead and actively contribute to the implementation and ongoing optimization of the Yardi construction module.
Review monthly construction loan draw and capital call packages in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Review monthly reporting packages prepared in accordance with IFRS and ASPE.
