Management Trainee

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and developing merchandising strategies that balance customer expectations with company objectives
• Support in analysing sales figures, customer reactions, and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan ranges/stock
• Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts to learn negotiation of prices, quantities, and timelines
• Contribute to maximizing customer interest and sales levels through effective product displays
• Help produce layout plans for stores and maintain shelves and inventory
• Monitor stock movement and assist in implementing markdowns, promotions, price changes, and clear-outs
• Build constructive customer relationships and partner with channels to support pipeline growth and deal closures
• Stay updated with industry best practices and apply learnings to daily operations
