Management Accountant

Robert Half are working with an Australian academic research institute recognised internationally for its contributions.

This is a 4-month contract role with an opportunity for permanency for the right candidate, that will support the research finance function, providing management accounting, budgeting and grant-related financial oversight.

The Role

In this role, you will provide financial oversight across a portfolio of research projects, including budgeting, month‑end, revenue recognition, labour allocation and grant compliance. It also manages complex funding requirements, prepares acquittals and audit documentation, and drives process improvements across reporting systems.
