Multi-skilled Technician (MST)

The Multi-skilled Technician (MST) is a Preventive Maintenance and Focused Improvement specialist engaged to optimize the running and maintenance of equipment within the factory. The MST diagnoses and troubleshoots faults when breakdowns occur, recommends design improvements, and participates in setting the Maintenance Strategy to continuously improve machine reliability.

Responsibilities

• Apply mechanical skills and focused technical expertise to support engineering performance targets.
• Act as a Preventive Maintenance Specialist using Time‑Based and Condition‑Based Maintenance strategies.
• Maintain and troubleshoot assigned equipment, ensuring it is fully operational under mechanical, motion, and electrical systems.
• Remove and replace major electrical components (motors, switchgear, control gear) and safely troubleshoot electrical circuits.
