About the Role
Looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical or mechanical background to join a team supporting specialty machinery in a steel service environment. This is a full-time, onsite role with standard hours from 6:30 AM to 2:45 PM. While training will be provided, a solid foundation in equipment maintenance is essential.
Essential Duties
- Plan, layout, install, and repair complex electrical systems including:
- Machine and process controls
- Control panels, relays, and breakers
- Electronic controls and PLC systems
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime
- Assist in equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives
