We are seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Operative to support the upkeep of this distinctive property and its grounds. This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining both the functionality and character of a building.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, basic electrical work, carpentry, and decorating
- Ensure the building, facilities, and grounds are safe, secure, and well-maintained
- Maintain outdoor areas and gardens, contributing to a calm and therapeutic environment
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff
- Coordinate with external contractors when required
- Support the upkeep of communal areas and shared spaces
