Maintenance Inspector

The role will include inspecting properties and related assets to identify repair work that is required to ensure tenants' houses remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose. You will also be required to carry out work in support of the planned works and compliance team, and work within a team who are responsible for responsive repairs, general maintenance and void work across the district.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties and assets to identify repair work needed.
• Support the planned works and compliance team.
• Manage multiple repairs from initial inspection and diagnosis through to post-inspection.
• Work directly with tenants, leaseholders and contractors to deliver an effective and customer-focused maintenance service.
• Maintain responsiveness to repairs, general maintenance and void work across the district.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and use a vehicle for business purposes.
