Maintenance Engineer

Overview

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Location: Reading – Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 (DOE) – Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Diagnose and repair faults quickly and safely, minimising production downtime.
• Perform electrical and mechanical fault finding down to component level.
• Complete accurate maintenance records and communicate updates to Production.
• Support ongoing improvements to plant, machinery and maintenance processes.

Qualifications

• Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (e.g., City & Guilds).
• Strong experience across both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Good understanding of electrical installation and maintenance.
• Confident with component-level fault finding.
