About the Role
We are recruiting for Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to join our expanding team based at our site in Howden. The candidate will work a combination of mornings and afternoons on rotating shift pattern.The salary for this position ranges between £40,500 - £43,500 + Shift Allowance depending on the experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- To carry out planned and reactive maintenance
- Fault finding, PLC, troubleshooting and maintaining, repairing conveyor systems, equipment and plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time
- To follow up any faults picked up on PPMs
- Take ownership for working area; monitor key maintenance KPI's such as breakdowns and have a strong service-department mind set towards the operations
- Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner
- To proactively work towards the continued success and support of the business with a can-do attitude
