Maintenance Assistant

EQUANS is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to be based in Blackburn for our Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital contract. This is a permanent full‑time role working 40 hours per week, with overtime available. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview

The post holder will use maintenance skills to ensure the safe and continuous operation of the site, working within the response team and reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor and Mechanical Manager.

Responsibilities

• The post holder will have the required maintenance skills to ensure the safe and continuous operation of the site.
• Work within the response team and report to the Mechanical Supervisor and Mechanical Manager.
• Undertake a proactive role in carrying out maintenance, repairs and inspections of building services, fabric, fixtures and fittings, in accordance with relevant standards, operational procedures and legislation.
