Maintainer Operator - Bulwer Island

We are now looking for an experienced Maintainer Operator to join our team onsite at Bulwer Island (Pinkenba).

About the role:

Reporting to the Production Manager, this position exists to take a lead role as a maintainer and operator of ball mills, slag drier, dispatch and wharf operations, including the ship unloader, and perform the preventative maintenance as required to ensure the reliable and safe operation of the mentioned equipment.

• Ensuring the Bulwer Island operations meet Cement Australia’s SHEQ policies and guidelines
• Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance activities such as PMR inspections, electrical troubleshooting, v-belt replacement, conveyor tracking, bucket elevator tracking, dust collector fault finding, conveyor belt gearbox replacement, assist with conveyor belt replacement, conveyor belt drum bearing replacement and supervision of contractors as required
