About the Role

Education
 Licensed Machinist or equivalent experience Duties / Responsibilities Qualifications:
Minimum 10+ years' work experience in a machine and fabrication shop environment or engineering department of a manufacturer with heavy machining capabilities. Interpret blue print drawings and accurately read various measuring tools. Understanding of machinery and equipment and material tolerances. Solid understanding of quality control and working to quality standards. Must have good time management, problem-solving skills, initiative and commitment to tasks. Responsibilities: Ø Assist with training of new and existing employees on proper usage of measuring equipment and ISO Quality Policies and Procedures
Ø Inspect all machined and fabricated jobs to ensure compliance with drawing, process and customer specifications
Ø Monitor in-process jobs throughout the shop to prevent non-conformance issues
