Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineered drawings
• Setup, program, and operation of HBMs or VMMs
• Run variety of machines including lathes and mills when required
• Understand tool limitations and controls during operation
• Operate machines within tight tolerances and have a good knowledge of feeds and speeds
• Measure precisely utilizing mics, calipers, bore gauges and hold tight tolerances
• Operate travelling overhead crane up to 20 tonnes and know rigging requirements
• Inspect work according to ISO and Quality Assurance standards
• Capable of working unsupervised on own machine
• Troubleshoot within area and on machines
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment
• Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures
