Machine Technician

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and modify jigs, fixtures, and tooling based on engineering drawings and production requirements.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of jigs and fixtures to ensure accuracy, durability, and safe operation.
• Conduct troubleshooting and root-cause analysis on jig and fixture issues affecting quality, yield, or productivity.
• Operate and set up conventional and/or CNC machines (lathe, milling, grinding, drilling, tapping).
• Read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and specifications.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams during jig validation, trials, and process improvements.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), line setup, and continuous improvement activities (Kaizen).
• Ensure jigs and fixtures comply with safety, ergonomic, and quality standards.
