About the Role
- A CTP (Computer-to-Plate) Operator manages the prepress process by transferring digital images directly onto printing plates using imaging devices and software.
- They are responsible for file checking, imposition, operating plate-making machinery, and ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely plate output for offset printing, often collaborating with press teams.
- CTP operation and graphic design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator / Photoshop / etc)
- Prepress, colour management and offset printing process.
- Handle prepress file checking, imposition, trapping and color separation.
- Collaborate with the production and sales teams to meet deadlines & customer expectations.
