Machine Operator (Evening Shift)

Position Overview Apex Industries is currently recruiting a Machine Operator to join our Steel Door Manufacturing Group for the Evening shift.

This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Production Supervisor. The primary role of this position is to set up and operate CNC press brakes as well as other responsibilities relating to the production schedule.  Responsibilities Setup and operate machines (CNC press brakes) Perform routine maintenance on equipment Gathering, sheering and tagging required materials Loading and unloading steel sheets Recognize and communicate areas to improve, to the lead-hand Maintain a safe and clean work environment Understand and effectively carry out oral and written instruction Able to read manual and digital measuring tools (tape measure, caliper) Requirements High School Diploma, GED, technical school training or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience working with CNC press brake is required.
