About the Role
Role Purpose:
To support the smooth running of knitting machines by ensuring machines are properly set, supplied with yarns, kept clean, and minor issues are promptly reported.
Key Responsibilities:
To support the smooth running of knitting machines by ensuring machines are properly set, supplied with yarns, kept clean, and minor issues are promptly reported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Feed yarn into the machines as required.
- Ensure quality of socks i.e., regularly measuring stretch and sizes, ensure correct colors and designs.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety around assigned machines.
- Record basic production data accurately - fill in tags and summarize handover reports to the next attendant on shift.
- Support operators to meet daily production targets.
Requirements
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to stand for long hours.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and take instructions.
- Strong work ethic and ability to push yourself to meet targets
