Location: Brampton, ON
Pay Rate: $28‑32/hr
Shift: Days 7AM – 3:30PM
Start: ASAP
Status: 3‑Month Contract with possible extension or permanent afterwards
Job Summary
Our client, a machine manufacturer in Brampton, is looking for an experienced contract Machine Builder/Assembler.
Responsibilities
- Build/assemble machinery in line with schematics
- Read schematics and use an array of tools and diagnostic devices to service and install mechanical components
- Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
- Wire packaging machines with existing or new equipment/technology; work with external contractors on the assigned line
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair equipment as needed
- Apply PLC programming experience
