LV Service Engineer

Overview

As a LV Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, testing and fault-finding of LV and HV switchgear and associated power distribution equipment. The role is primarily site-based, combining hands-on technical work with direct customer interaction. This position suits an engineer with a strong electrical background, confident working on live environments where downtime must be minimised and safety is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on LV and HV switchgear, including switchboards, distribution boards, breakers and protection devices.


• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults on power distribution systems in operational environments.


• Perform inspection, testing and verification of electrical installations in accordance with relevant standards and site procedures.
