LPN / RN - Addictions (3rd Shift)

Position Summary:
Provides and manages all aspects of patient care in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards based on the scope of a Registered Nurse, under the direction / delegation of the NP or MD.
Job Responsibilities:

• Assesses, evaluates and identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and current patients; triages medical needs in an accurate and precise way through patient history, interviewing and careful examination; assist with components of physical exam as ordered by NP or MD
• Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making and recommending necessary adjustments; following agency and medical department philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state practice act, and other governing agency; monitor vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pules...
