Logistics Coordinator (Garside Industrial)

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate, assign, and dispatch drivers for scheduled pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain continuous communication with drivers, brokers, and customers to ensure smooth load execution.
• Track freight movement, driver progress, and load status in real time.
• Monitor hours of service, routes, and compliance requirements.
• Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve delays or operational issues.
• Accurately record load details, rates, driver information, and dispatch notes.
• Negotiate freight rates and load terms with brokers when required.
• Ensure all dispatch activities comply with DOT regulations and company standards.
• Provide operational support outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Maintain proper records and paperwork.
• Expected to have an adaptable work schedule over weekends and evenings.
