Work in a chemical plant facility to ensure the timely shipping of products via rail. Perform product testing to ensure quality control standards are met.
Responsibilities- Start the day with a team meeting to review shift objectives.
- Hook up hoses and pumps to trucks for wax product transfer.
- Test samples in the lab to ensure quality standards are met.
- Operate trackmobile for rail car shunting and zoom boom.
- Assist with maintenance tasks using impact wrenches and box wrenches.
- Perform various clean-up duties.
- Help truckers fill out electronic tracking using an SAP system.
- Experience in a chemical plant environment.
- Ability to work on feet all day.
- Mechanical aptitude, including the use of hand and power tools.
