Job Overview

Salary: £13.05 per hour – £13.47 per hour

Hours per week: 0 hours (casual, ad‑hoc basis)

We are looking for Lifeguards available on an ad‑hoc basis to cover existing staff absences. The role requires a UK‑recognised pool lifeguard qualification and an understanding of relevant health and safety legislation. Casual workers working unsocial hours receive an additional 10% pay on top of the hourly rate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure member safety and well‑being while on duty.
• Cover staff absences on an as‑needed basis.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with water‑based activities.
• Maintain health and safety standards in accordance with legislation.
• Assist with training programmes to support skill development and potential progression to management roles.
