Licensed Practical Nurse - Operating Room Technician

Your Opportunity:

As an ORT (Operating Room Technician) for Unit 210 Surgical Suite in the Orthopedic Surgery Centre (OSC) at the Royal Alexandra Hospital you will be responsible for providing peri-operative patient care for arthroplasty, urology, bariatric, breast and general surgery patients. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the Operating Room Technician (ORT) will be responsible for providing peri-operative patient care using the nursing process, in accordance with CLPNA and Standards of Practice and Competencies for the Perioperative LPN. The incumbent will demonstrate competence in delivering safe, effective, and efficient care in both the scrub and circulating roles as an integral part of their surgical team.
