Licensed Class B Gas Fitter
B&B Contracting Group is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Licensed Class B Gas Fitter to join our Heavy Civil Gas Division. The successful candidate will perform gas meter exchanges, new installations, system maintenance, inspections, and service work in compliance with FortisBC & BC Technical Safety standards, provincial regulations, and company safety procedures. This role requires strong technical ability, professionalism with customers, and a commitment to quality workmanship. The work is located in all areas of the Lower Mainland.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial gas meter exchanges and installations
- Install, modify, test, and commission gas piping systems and regulators
- Conduct leak detection, pressure testing, purging, and system troubleshooting
- Relight customer appliances and verify safe operation
