About the position
We are seeking a Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant to join us on a Casual basis. The role is based at Barrabill House, the Residential Aged Care facility.
The Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant works with the care team members, volunteers, families, community consumer/participants and residents to access a leisure and lifestyle program. The leisure and lifestyle program will provide a supportive, safe and friendly environment to promote better health, wellness and social inclusion opportunities through a range of activities, within the community.
What you bring
- Experience in Aged Care and working with Aged Care residents
- Certificate III in Aged Care or Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle.
- Care and compassion
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Well-developed planning and organising skills
