Role Overview

The role is critical in supporting all legal and regulatory matters for Liberty Singapore, covering both retail and commercial/specialty products. The role reports to the Co‑Heads of Legal Singapore and sits within the Legal team as part of Liberty International Insurance APAC.

Responsibilities

• Support all legal and regulatory matters as assigned by the role report and other designated assignees.
• Provide day‑to‑day management of all aspects of the legal function, including regulatory/legal issues related to insurance and reinsurance (contract review, policy wordings), general corporate and commercial advisory work, corporate litigation, dispute management and resolution, and drafting, negotiating, reviewing, and approving agreements and legal reports.
• Advise on local legal matters (civil, criminal, outsourcing, data protection, etc.) and on any changes or developments in the law when appropriate.
