About the Role
Legal Counsel Cape Town Our investment client seeks the expertise of a Legal Counsel with at least 5 years’ experience. Provide in-house legal support to the business, with a focus on commercial contracting, day-to-day legal advisory, and managing legal risk in support of business operations and growth. Salary: Market Related Minimum Requirements:
- LLB; Admitted attorney
- 5 years relevant experience (commercial law focus) with prior in-house experience.
- Strong contract drafting/negotiation skills and ability to advise business stakeholders.
- Experience in the relevant sector (tech, fintech, retail, logistics, property, etc.).
- Exposure to data privacy and consumer law.
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements (customer/supplier, procurement, NDAs, SLAs, SaaS/IT where relevant).
