About the role
Justteachers is seeking a supportive Learning Support Assistant to work in a mainstream primary school in Corby. This full-time role starts September 2026 and runs until July 2027. You will assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and provide targeted support for pupils who require additional help.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils during classroom learning activities
- Assist with small group work and targeted interventions
- Encourage pupil participation and confidence
- Support the preparation of teaching resources
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Pre-requisites
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Enthusiastic and supportive approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
- Two references within the last two years from a related field
