Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Support students with SEND and additional learning needs in lessons and around school
• Work closely with teachers to help students access learning and make progress
• Deliver targeted interventions and personalised support programmes
• Act as a key worker for an allocated group of students
• Monitor students' academic progress, engagement, attendance and wellbeing
• Conduct regular pastoral check-ins and provide encouragement and guidance
• Maintain positive communication with parents and carers
• Carry out lesson observations and provide feedback to the SEND team
• Support the implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and other support plans
