Learning Support Assistant

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEMH provision based in Bilston, supporting pupils aged 13 – 16. The school promotes a nurturing and engaging environment, placing strong emphasis on communication, literacy, and preparing pupils for life through a broad and balanced curriculum.

The school is looking to take on a Learning Support Assistant on a temp to perm basis. The successful Learning Support Assistant will be working closely with a male pupil within small class settings across KS3 and KS4, supporting both academic learning and emotional development, while encouraging independence and positive engagement.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs
• A relevant qualification in education or care is desirable
• Experience supporting pupils in KS3 and KS4
