Lean Coordinator I

Position Summary

Responsible for implementing Lean initiatives at the Plant level by following the OpEx assessment guide. Organizes associates in continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste in all office, factory and support functions. Measures and reports progress on HPT & 5s, helps the production, quality and engineering department in the development of continuous improvement projects to achieve Plant goals.

Responsibilities

• Aid in supporting a safe ergonomic working environment for all employees in the facility.
• Ensures Starpoint, and Natural High Performing Teams (HPTs) are following the HPT strategy and identify and gives training according to these methodologies.
• Facilitate problem solving tools at a daily basis and gives training if needed.
