Lead - procurement cutting tools

Job Responsibilities
To support and manage procurement operations for direct materials including cutting tools, Packing materials, in a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment. The role focuses on ensuring timely material availability, cost optimization, and supplier performance to meet production targets.
Assist in developing and executing procurement strategies for mass production materials.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to avoid production delays.
Coordinate with suppliers for order fulfillment, delivery schedules, and quality compliance.
Support cost reduction initiatives through:
Inventory optimization and control.
Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs.
Negotiation of extended payment terms and better commercial terms.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain supplier scorecards.
Collaborate with production, planning, and quality teams to align procurement with operational needs.
