Lead Hand - Pipeline Integrity

Position Summary

The primary function of the Lead Hand is to provide direction, on-floor leadership and continuous improvement of the production processes, procedures, and equipment. A Strike Lead Hand provides leadership and scheduling, and coordinates, supervises and ensures the safety and productivity of their assigned labourer.

Scope of Work

Core Accountabilities

• Operate 2-5 ton picker trucks, telehandlers, skidsteers and AWP
• Participate in daily toolbox Meetings
• Participate in safety/incident investigations and reviews
• Complete Task Hazard Assessments, Drivers Logs, and review Job Site Assessments
• Manage and maintain client relationships
• Apply project procedures, work site policies and collective agreement requirements; ensure quality and inspection of installation
