Roles within the Software Delivery Platform Engineering job family are responsible for ensuring that core engineering enablement platforms such as OneDev, UKDevTools, and Observability are delivered, enhanced, and operated as resilient, high‑performing, and compliant services. These roles focus on maintaining day‑to‑day operational excellence, managing incidents, monitoring platform health, and using data‑driven insights to maintain availability, capacity, and stability. Collaboration with DevOps, Infrastructure, InfoSec, vendors, and global support teams is central to maintaining strong operational outcomes and driving continuous improvement. These roles play a key part in developing consistent tooling, environments and pipelines, while continually identifying opportunities to optimise platform services.
