As a Lead Engineer in CAE at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our vehicle safety standards through advanced simulation techniques. Your primary responsibilities will include: Creating fully functional crash finite element (FE) models that can accurately simulate real-world crash scenarios including frontal, side, rear, and pedestrian tests using leading CAE software such as LSDYNA, Hypermesh, Lsprepost, and Primer.
Gaining in-depth understanding of vehicle crash behaviour to inform design improvements, ensuring optimum durability while reducing mass.
Working collaboratively with design teams to implement efficient modifications that enhance crash performance and accumulate iterations within tight deadlines.
Mentoring junior engineers or fresh PGETs, guiding them in executing crash Design Verification Plan (DVP) simulations effectively.
