About the Job

Lead Database Administrator in Great Eastern plays a critical role in overseeing end to end management of large and diverse database environment supporting over 500 databases across multiple platforms including Oracle, ExaCC. Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2 ,Yugabyte, MariaDB and on prem cloud based OCI. The role demands strong technical leadership, people management, strategic planning, stakeholder management and vendor coordination. To lead a team of DBAs, managing day to day database operations, planning enhancement to uplift performance, ensure compliance, safeguard the data by deploying relevant security measures to the core and supporting databases across the organization to achieve properly structured, optimally performing, stable, resilient and secure databases.
