Launch and Recovery Technician I

**Amentum** is seeking a **Launch and Recovery Technician I** to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) Mission on **Andros Island, Bahamas** . AUTEC is a Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB) and the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport's largest single team project, providing both deep and shallow water test and training environments. **Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.**

**Essential Responsibilities:**

+ Be responsible for launch and recovery of NAVSEA/NAVAIR vehicles from vessels and helicopters.
+ Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs to various launcher systems (Telescopic Target Launcher/MK-32, Mod-17 Surface Launcher/Helicopter MK-146 Helicopter Launcher, MK-59 Torpedo Tube and the Smokey SAM Launchers).
