About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator to join a well-established sheet metal fabrication business in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. This is a permanent full-time role working the afternoon shift, Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 11:30pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor CNC laser cutting machines to produce components to precise specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings and production schedules.
- Perform set-ups, adjustments, and routine maintenance on laser equipment.
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards.
