As a Lane Closure Technician (LCT), you play an essential role in supporting the safety of roadworkers and the public. You will set up, maintain, and remove traffic control measures in various work zones across the lower mainland.

What you will be responsible for

Traffic Control

• Lead Traffic Control persons, providing direction and guidance to set up and tear down signs, work zone delineations, and ensure safe traffic control.
• Set up traffic control zones.
• Give clear and precise traffic control directions and signals for motorists' understanding.
• Monitor the traffic and work zone and modify when scope of work changes.

Safety and Compliance

• Effectively conduct traffic control at worksites within the scope of training to protect workers, the public, and our employees.
