The Lands Manager will oversee, negotiate, and implement any lands and resource issues to meet current needs and sustain resources for future generations. The role involves assisting the Chief & Council and representatives in developing strategies, and monitoring changes in government policies, legislation, and funding.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a data management system for land records.
• Negotiate and prepare land management instruments (leases, permits, allotments) using departmental standard templates.
• Confirm that survey requirements are met.
• Ensure appraisals are conducted as necessary.
