Laboratory Analyst

Overview

The Laboratory Analyst is responsible for conducting routine physical and chemical analyses in conformance to standard methods and/or laboratory developed test methods, while maintaining a clean, orderly and safe work area.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct routine analyses of physical and chemical test parameters on submitted food samples.
• Utilize a wide variety of laboratory equipment including moisture analyzer, water active meter, viscometer, etc. to test for submitted food samples.
• Ensure credibility and accuracy of results through quality control checks.
• Conduct physico-chemical testing analysis on submitted Raw Materials for batch trial products, products with customer complaints and RM MSS Samples necessary for material qualification.
• Perform quality assurance of received laboratory reagents and prepare reagents used for analysis.
