About the company/role:
- Major pharmaceutical company based in Northern suburbs of Melbourne
- Seeking 2x QC Technicians to join their team
- 1 QC Technician - Part-time (3 days per week)
- 1 QC Technician - full time (5 days per week)
- 3-month contract with potential for extension
- Immediate start
Duties:
- Support daily lab operations, including cleaning, basic maintenance, and waste management.
- Manage stocktake activities, collect supplies, and coordinate ordering.
- Pick up and deliver samples according to lab procedures.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, including routine checks and upkeep of items like water baths.
- Assist with general facility maintenance and reporting issues.
- Coordinate sample flow and ensure accurate tracking.
- Enter data, log samples, record microorganism IDs, and document results in line with SOP standards.
