Lab Technician II R4

Responsibilities

• Prepare, conduct laboratory testing, experiment samples, and trial sample preparations in the HB Fuller technology line of Hot Melt chemistry.
• Secure raw materials, prepare samples, measure physical properties and performance properties, and run R&D laboratory equipment.
• Maintain test equipment in good order.
• Manage inventory of raw materials, standard substrates, and finished products.
• Keep a clean lab environment through 5S practices.
• Generate SOPs for tests and equipment operation within their responsibility.
• Perform complex, simultaneous laboratory tasks and procedures accurately and timely, communicating with fellow employees, suppliers, and customers.
• Take problems in their most basic form and reach satisfactory conclusions with little supervision.
• Be flexible and quickly reprioritize and organize daily work based on changing business needs.
