This is a contract role for an L2 Java Application Support specialist based in Makati City, Metro Manila. You will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting for Java-based applications, ensuring optimal performance and resolving complex issues for our clients.
What you'll be doing
- Provide Level 2 support for Java applications, including investigating, diagnosing and resolving issues
- Analyse application logs and performance metrics to identify and address root causes of problems
- Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline support processes and enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and fix bugs in the codebase
- Document support procedures and knowledge articles to aid the wider support team
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support as needed
