About the Role
The KYC Lead is responsible for overseeing Know Your Customer (KYC) operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading a team that actually understands why KYC exists (not just ticking boxes). This role balances people management, process improvement, and risk control—because regulators don’t care about excuses.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the KYC team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of onboarding and periodic reviews
Act as the subject matter expert on KYC, AML, and CDD/EDD requirements (yes, you need to really know them)
Review and approve high-risk and complex KYC cases
Ensure compliance with internal policies and global regulatory standards
Identify process gaps and drive efficiency improvements (less rework, fewer headaches)
