KYC Lead

The KYC Lead is responsible for overseeing Know Your Customer (KYC) operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading a team that actually understands why KYC exists (not just ticking boxes). This role balances people management, process improvement, and risk control—because regulators don't care about excuses.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the KYC team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of onboarding and periodic reviews
• Act as the subject matter expert on KYC, AML, and CDD/EDD requirements (yes, you need to really know them)
• Review and approve high-risk and complex KYC cases
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and global regulatory standards
• Identify process gaps and drive efficiency improvements (less rework, fewer headaches)
• Liaise with Compliance, Risk, Audit, and other stakeholders as needed
