Job Roles & Responsibilities: -
- Design, develop, and configure Kong entities (services, routes, plugins, caching, API management).
- Create and customize Kong plugins; implement request/response transformations.
- Develop custom Lua scripts for extended functionality.
- Integrate Kong with APIs, backend systems, and DevOps pipelines.
- Manage API security authentication, authorization, rate limiting, RBAC.
- Implement traffic management (load balancing, caching).
- Monitor and troubleshoot Kong performance issues.
- Maintain API documentation via Kong Developer Portal.
- Stay updated on new Kong features and best practices.
